I mean based on the part of the PC I watched today he isn't an x's and o's guy at all. He is a touchy feely coach. Now I will say, WCO, Texas Coast Offense, McVay, Shannahan or whoever, they all have the same plays anymore. There isn't really an innovation in that. But it's all about how you call them and when you call them. Like Shannahan runs a ton of motion and misdirection with those plays. I really have no idea what Shannahan is going to do, but he was an OC long before he was the OC for McCarthy. So I don't think the offense will necessarily look the same. But I don't think you'll see him do anything revolutionary either. This is a guy who may work hard but he isn't going to outsmart people either.

Ultimately, the PC made me feel worse about BS as a play caller and as a head coach. I don't think he has the personality to push players. I don't think he is going to demand excellence. It sounds like a guy who is just thankful to have this job, he is going to love everyone and he is going to work hard. I just don't think that's going to get the job done. But I guess we will see.
He's a backwards visor faggot living off his deddy's name. No point in exploring it further.

Nobody clapped for old turkey neck bitch…nor should they ever
Good lord, Schottenheimer.

Your first official day as HC and you're already sucking up?

Pathetic.

I mean, shit..... Not even Jerry fucking clapped.

His awkward redneck chortle was very unnerving.

And I guess I never paid attention before but he was introduced as “co-owner”.
I also enjoyed the look of anticipation on Jerry’s decrepit face as the ridiculous title was read off…and then >BIG FAIL MOTHERFUCKER<

In no way, shape or form do I think he deserves to be a HC in the league based on his track record, but I think his time with the Seahawks gets a bad rap and it's an argument that I made when he was hired as OC.

In the 3 years that Schottenheimer was the OC there Wilson put up 106 TD's/25 INT's, 11,770 yards on 67% completion with a 7.8 YPA. That's an average of 35 TD's/8 INT's and 3900 yards per season.

In the years before Schottenheimer he put up an average of 27 TD's/9 INT's per year, about 3700 yards on 64% completion and a 7.8 YPA.

After Schottenheimer he cratered averaging 21 TD's/8 INT's, 3100 yards on 64% completion and a 7.3 YPA.

He had the best statistical season of his career under Schottenheimer in 2020 with 40 TD's/13 INT's and 4212 yards (career high in TD's and nearly a career high in yards). He hasn't thrown for 30 TD's or 4000 yards since that season.

The problem is that when Schottenheimer was the OC there (2018-20) people thought Wilson was a top 3-5 QB in the league and was being held back or underutilized, but when you look at his career since you have to wonder if it was actually Schottenheimer who was making him look better than he actually was.

You said a lot but it is simple as can be.

He is getting credit for things he has not done.

Prime Wilson then is nothing like twice-gimped Prescott will be.

I’ve always fantasized about pissing on Jerry’s grave. Don’t wanna do it anymore.

I promise you, if it’s humanly possible, like if it’s a flat grave marker, or one of the gaudy head stones that has a decent ledge on it somewhere, I WILL shit on Stephen’s grave.

Repercussions be damned. Jail time, whatever. That MFer dies while I’m still able, it’s on.

Unless I missed it, I’m surprised nothing was discussed about the rest of the staff.

With his decades of NFL experience, how does that play a factor

Sorensen was the 49ers DC last year so he probably has a little something to him if he impressed Shannahan enough to hire him as DC.

Could've definitely done worse.

Right, the Let Russ Cook craze ended up being a mirage. Turned out he was better as a semi-bus driver. Hopefully they do something similar with Dak.
