Strong running game is absolutely important, I think though there is a point of diminishing returns.No, that doesn't mean a strong running game is a detriment.
Terrell Davis did 2000+ on a Superbowl champion with the Broncos in 1998 on an offense that was hitting on all cylinders.
I think those days may be past.
If the Titans do get a world class passing game with the addition of Julio Jones and sudden maturation of Ryan Tannehill, I don't think Derrick Henry would also be getting too much more than 1400-1500 yards. At least by today's standards he shouldn't be.
