It was all a money grab by Stafford, there's no chance he actually wanted to leave LA, especially to join some shitbird ass team like the Giants or Raiders.
Wonder what the Giants were offering for picks? That would have ended badly for Stafford.

Between this and seeing the Jets go with Justin Fields, it really boggles the mind how professional NFL people can be so bad at spotting talent and building a team.

I'm not suggesting that job is easy, but I do genuinely believe you could find fans all over the country who could do a better job of picking players and/or staying away from players than what the Jets, Giants, and Browns have been doing the last several years.

There are just a lot of very toxic environments out there where winning isn't the sole focus or top priority.

You have lots of competing interests between owners, head coaches, coordinators/assistant coaches, GM's and other randos in the ears of all those people, not to mention the incestual nature of the NFL as a whole.

I wouldn't put a rookie QB anywhere nears that QB room either. Wilson is a massive diva. Winston is just unhinged weird. And I don't even know what to say about the Italian kid and his oddball following.

How can an NFL front office guy consciously decide on all 3 of those guys to form his QB corps?

I wouldn't want a single one of them let alone all 3 of them.

To me, that's the very definition of being clueless.

The only thing I can imagine is that they're trying to save their jobs and hoping a dart throw works out.

Hopefully they draft Sanders too as the cherry on top of the weirdest QB group ever.
