The problem I heard Broaddus or someone saying -- Broaddus is a buffoon and I don't trust his opinions or judgement at all but he does have some sources with the team -- is that supposedly Parsons doesn't like to watch film and doesn't want to play LB.
I could see Parsons and his agent being against him playing LB more often. The salaries of elite pass rushers/DEs is significantly more than top-end LBs. Therefore putting themselves in position to get as many sacks as possible is probably at or near the top of their list of priorities; especially since he's coming up on his first big contract.

It's the Fox game of the Week so we get Tom Brady again.

:lol

As expected, he's gotten a little better from his first couple of weeks, but he's still a very ordinary analyst. He doesn't stand out at all, which is why I didn't understand FOX's desperation in throwing $37 million dollars at him. That type of money should be thrown at personalities who truly move the needle like Madden and Cosell back in the day.

If I can't tell the difference between your performance as an analyst and Mark Sanchez's, that's a problem.

It's funny because his 5th year tag was less as a DE than a LBer. Because LBers include 3-4 OLBers who obviously make a lot of money.

That's what I think too.

Now, if we somehow keep it close, I think we're actually going to pull out the surprise win.

But my guess is that we lose by 2 scores.
Detroit's defense is pretty average. They're strong against the run but their pass defense is bottom tier. Luckily that plays right into how the Cowboys operate on offense.

As long as we don't turn the ball over, I think the Cowboys will at least keep it close and interesting until the end.

I hope so, but I don't see how we even come close to stopping their offense.

Herbig is 240 pounds playing that spot for the Steelers.
The Steelers run a 3-4 defense, and 240 is a fine weight for a modern SLB, which is the position Herbig now plays (backing up Highsmith)

That’s what we need to transform into

He can play that role regardless of a 3-4 vs. 4-3, the schemes have almost merged together anyway. The key is for the coaches to decide to use him in those spaces while having other guys on the field (i.e. bigger down linemen) who can compensate.

That's weird, No C said on whatever show he's on he thought there was next to zero chance Bland plays this week.
