Those who come from a specific group that is easily identifiable tend to see the world through their own rose colored glasses and assume because they're part of a group that congregates together and has attachments based on something like skin color, then the assumption is all so called white people do the same but I contend that they don't but maybe I'm looking through my own rose colored glasses

I believe cultures are formed through solidarity of common experience and can happen to any color, gender or ethnicity

there's no Whitlandia where all crackers hail from nor common culture for all whities to defend, the whole idea is a red herring that does nothing but divide people unnecessarily

Cultural solidarity is vanishing because it is now labeled racist. I'm not even talking about race...I am talking about culture. It is part of human nature and the fabric of who we are to share common food, ways to communicate and so forth. It doesn't mean that I hate anyone just because certain traditions bring me comfort. Weird times.

And, it's the culture war that is being lost. The media/left have created this culture of "inclusion" that is in fact the most exclusive of anything that I have ever seen. You're only included if you conform and believe what they tell you to believe. If you don't, regardless of the color of your skin, they tell you to GTFO.

I agree. I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy that exists in this country. You can be proud of every race, unless you're white. If you say the words "I'm proud to be a white man. White men are great." you are instantly racist. Yet we have black history month and woman's appreciation month or whatever the fuck it is.

I hear you and you're right, I've said it here and elsewhere multiple times, "white" is the last acceptable pejorative, the hypocrisy and cognitive disconnect of this and the examples you mentioned drives me nuts
