This will probably not be very popular, but there is absolutely nothing we can do about things that happened 400 years ago. Or 100 years ago. Nobody alive has had it rough for “400 years”. Yeah, some awful shit happened throughout history. To every race, all over the world. Is there still racism going on? Absolutely. But not even close to the level it was even 50-60 years ago. And there is racism directed at every race. But as we’ve seen vast improvement over the last half century, I’d like to think we will continue to improve. When our children are adults, it will be better for everyone. When our grandchildren are adults, even better still.

I’ll just shut my white privileged, racist mouth now.
