If this isn't one big middle finger to the fanbase, I don't know what it. We want blood, and they respond with backslaps, handholding and talk of "redemption." Red is the luckiest motherfucker alive.

just quit listening to these assholes, don’t read what they say, ignore their dumbasses

if the stupid cowboy fans had the discipline to never listen or watch another thing they said to the point no media would evER give them air time, jeri would die from a broken heart, he lives for the fame and is probably relishing all the attention he is getting despite the fact most of it is disgust

Seriously. Other than a play here or there, the team seemed lifeless and uninterested.
The Garrett Fans (including the Joneses) are still hanging their hats on Wade's last game in Green Bay. Anything better than that and they think they can justify keeping Garrett.

Hell, at least that was a game on the road, at Lambeau, against an all-time great QB playing for a team that went on to win the Super Bowl. Not against a pretty good Buffalo team at home on a short week. That team last night might have lost 45-7 to the 2010 Packers, too.

I see no reason to run Garrett down the road now. Jones knows and I believe Garrett knows he willl not be extended. It’s not likely an interim coach could do any more with the team so it better for the team to not have to deal with a media frenzy over another Jones firing. It seems more reasonable to just let the season play out.

At this point, if you believe that Garrett is gone at the end of the year, there is really no positive of keeping Garrett other than continuity.
With Garrett the players seem to already know he is gone. They don’t respect him. They definitely don’t play for him.

True but I think the distraction of the media frenzy and possible player reaction could create more negativity than just letting the inevitable happen down the road. No matter what happens between now and then it’s a slim to none chance the team does enough to save Garrett’s job and even Jones knows that. It highly probable that the best the team would fair this season is a division title and maybe one playoff win. That won’t convince Jones to keep Garrett.

I see that as a very very remote possibility. We'd have to give up draft picks, which we really need to add some key pieces to the DL.

Plus, why the hell would he want to come here?

The frenzy will occur regardless. If you are conceding the season, there is no reason not to make a move. Have you heard the delusion of how both Joneses are certain we will run the table and go to the Super Bowl? They're beyond moronic, and think we are ALL as gullible as hell.

Continuity is what got us in this meas.

The ONLY reason Jason Garrett is still here isn't a good enough one. Let me explain.

That is the scary part.

If this is them playing with a great sense of urgency, what the fuck?

Last night the defense looked like it didn't give a shit after they blew it after having the Bills backed up into their end zone and they got out of it.

Then the offense just sputtered and looked retarded the rest of the night.
