Kubiak would be an upgrade over Garrett from a game management and weekly game planning standpoint, but it would be a bit of an underwhelming hire. I kinda want to see a fresher face rather than a retread.

The more frightening part of that scenario is keeping Garrett and having a "co-head coach" clusterfuck.

Lookit, if Kubiak is not healthy enough to be the head coach, why bother. That is not even getting into the keeping Garrett fucking disaster.

In general I don't like putting the blame on others. Take responsibility for your failure and man up. I'd have a lot more respect for that than blaming the OC or someone else. If you have a problem with Moore than demand to fix it during the season.
It sounds like he asked for playcalling duties and was denied. That’s the whole point.

It's entirely reasonable to tell the shitbag that "We gave you 6 years of play calling before we deemed you unable to that and did everything else we could think of to help you succeed. Now GTFO and don't let the door hit you in the ass!"
Yeah, I agree. Who is saying otherwise?

While I think the whole point is Garrett calling plays wouldn't have fixed anything so it's just a shitty excuse. But if Garrett had demanded play calling duties I doubt his good friend Jerry would have put up a major fight. Or they would have parted ways before this past season.

This just resembles a hostage negotiation at this point.

AND THE STANDOFF CONTINUES AT THE STAR AS JASON GARRETT WILL REMAIN BARRICADED BEHIND HIS DESK THROUGH THE WEEKEND AS NEGOTIATORS HAVE ELECTED TO TIME SOME TIME TO REGROUP. AUTHORITITIES EXPECT NEGOTIATIONS TO BEGIN ANEW ON MONDAY. STAY TUNED FOR FURTHER DEVELOPMENTS....

This is a really dumb. They make this sound like a power struggle. Nothing could be further from the truth. Garrett ha zero leverage and if there is any hesitation on Jones part it is probably factors he can’t deal with at the moment because of some rules or contract issues. The media has jumped the gun and they are now trying to bring pressure to the circumstance to get something definitive. They are trying to change the playing field and make everyone think the war continues.

Tune in Monday? WTF is this freak show for? I mean seriously, what's the fucking point of it? Just for publicity? Is that it, Jerry? You can go fuck yourself.
