Is it me, or does it always feel like we have the worst backups in football?
That's what happens when you
1) Don't know how to draft in the middle and late rounds, and
2) Trade multiple picks for CBs.
Our lines are weak. It makes everything behind them look worse.
So not only are we ignoring the lines and getting poor production at those spots as a result, but the better production we'd be getting out of all the resources we've been pouring into LB and CB are mitigated and we get pennies on the dollar because they aren't protected by the line like they need to be.
It's a moronic way to build, sinking resources into positions who are less effective without the structure in front of them.
