It’s gonna be so fucking sweet when they go to Chicago in the freezing rain/snow and gettheir asses handed to them by Mitchell Trubisky. Then let’s see what Jones has to say.
He's gonna say we're still in the hunt

There is the possibility are players are overrated. In fact, it is probably very likely.
im going with highly likely, Jeri’s been doing this bullshit since he fired Jimmy, here’s Troy talking about it:

Watching the game again, it is amazing how poorly Jaylon Smith is playing.

He looks like the same stiff we saw in 2016.
Probably sounds stupid but I just went back and watched Smiths ND highlights and it’s obvious that Smith is nowhere as explosive and smooth after the injury.

LVE went from one of the best tackling linebackers this team has had in decades to a low key Bobby Carpenter vibe.

I really just hope its the sophomore slump for LVE. It would really suck to have their (LVE and Smith) previous injury hamper their careers.

Read your post I quoted again. The reason I called you a commie has nothing to do with the team.
:lol

Missed that. I guess I am a commie.

I don’t know what Beasley got paid in Buffalo but he seems to be worth it to their system.

Stupid stunts slow the DL down by a solid 1-2 seconds

Its what happens when you don't put any resources into your DL and S, and keep a guy whose defense relies on 2 big disruptors at the DT position and solid play at S to work.

But ya know...Man in the Mirror!!!

Unless something has changed the forecast for Chicago is not that bad.

I would have scheduled him for surgery immediately.

But hey, we will just hope things get better. Then he goes under the knife in March or some shit.

Surgery? They have been super hush-hush about the injury so I'm not sure it's amenable to surgery. It probably is something permanent like spinal stenosis where he's just gonna have ot live with it and it may well shorten his career. But that's pure speculation on my part.

I read more about a herniated disc with inflammation they "hope" calms down.

If so, put him under the knife right now. No reason to put next year into jeopardy too.

I would rather know if I need a new MLB in April than find out in August.

Ah I see. Yes well there are various levels of surgery for that. You can have a discectomy or a partial discectomy. Then you are talking about a fusion which can reduce movement of the neck. Also, with any surgery on the spine, things can get worse rather than better. So the player may not be super eager to pursue surgery. Suspect Tyron Smith is in the same boat.
