I did the same thing save for the touch screen part. The weird thing is that they don't give you a receipt when you vote here in Maryland. A sticker, but no receipt.
I didn't get a receipt either, should I have?

So, we are going backwards? From digital ballots to paper? That's retarded.

I feel like Pennsylvania went backwards this year.

For a long time we had machines. You walked into a booth and a curtain closes you in so it's private. You press the buttons for your candidates, press the vote button, and your done. It was electronic and modern.

This year, they changed my voting location. It was a school gym. There were 4 sided islands in the middle of the gym that you take your paper ballot to. There's a small divider and no curtain. Not at all private. Completely out in the open. Then you filled in your candidates with pen on your paper ballot. Then walked your ballot, even more out in the open, to one of 3 scanners along the side. Feed your ballot into the scanner still out in the open. I never saw anything like it, it was completely insecure and about 90% public. It felt anachronistic and like we regressed. Why the hell would we go back to paper ballots?

And that's not to mention the workers said to me that the scanner I used wasn't working previously, and I would be the "guinea pig" to see if it worked.

Just a shit show.

^^ Wow, Geng... Any idea why they changed?

I'm glad you guys are talking about this because I meant to ask everyone how they did it. I'm surprised so much paper is still used -- I'm in a medium sized rinky dink Texas city and even we use the electronic machines. You first get your ID checked, then they issue you a four-digit code, then you take that code to the machine and input it. It's not touchscreen -- you have to move the cursor around with a wheel -- but it's pretty efficient. Paper seems like an outdated mess, but maybe I'm missing something.

Yeah here in middle Missouri it's a lot like Geng is saying. You go up, show them your ID, they give you the ballot and you fill it out in a little booth with not much privacy. Ours are around the edges of a gym like setup in a church oddly enough. Then once you're done, you feed your ballot into a machine that reminded me of the old scantron machines from my highschool days.

Isn't it funny how this shit can be done in churches?

Tim Pool is calling for a full recount of those 47 counties using the flawed software.

No. You won’t have to. You guys watch, as these lawsuits start to pile up, the discrepancies will iron themselves out before they can be labeled fraud.

So what happens if they find fraud but can only prove it on 1000 cases? Or some number that is less than what would require to change the election? What good does that do? Other than the entire world will know there was probably far more fraud that couldn't be proven. I'm sure it's not that easy to prove some of this stuff, especially on a mass scale.

If you can’t prove it, then you don’t have fraud.

Them willingly fixing the 6,000 Biden votes that were actually Trump votes in a country of 23k people, that’s awful sweet of them.

Now do the counties where there are 100k plus using the same “software”.

Maybe it’s widespread, maybe it’s not. You don’t know unless you, check this shit out. . . . Umm, fucking look for it!

If Trump was a pushover pussy like Mitt Romney, he would have conceded and nothing would have been said about anything. Now we have a guy who is going to expose fraud if it exists.

Nobody should be afraid of shining light on our elections to make sure they aren’t corrupt. Anyone against that is a partisan stooge.

Most unhinged dude ever. Removed and arrested? Why?

And how is he threatening the nation's safety?

Olbermann calling anyone a Karen is pretty hilarious.

This is exactly how it works here.

I'm missing something too then, because I agree with you.

I don't know why they changed, it seemed to work pretty well before. I think I read somewhere that Governor Wolf wanted the change as he thought this would be more secure, but I don't know that for sure.

That's the other thing, no one ever checked my ID. That's not new in PA from what I remember in the past. But here's the thing. I walked up to the table and the woman asked my last name so I gave it to her. She flipped through her rolls and then she said my first name to me and I said yes that's me. So not only did I not have to produce ID, I didn't even have to produce my first name.

Exactly. This wouldn't even be the first time it was done.

I actually think this is important. If the light is shined and everything checks out as perfect, great. Maybe it will restore some faith in the election process. I doubt it will, I'm sure some voter fraud takes place. And if we find it then also great, maybe we can fix it or figure out a way to prevent it, or at least scare the shit out of people from doing it in the future. But Trump has created such lunatic people on the other side to the point that they think this country would be destroyed if he wins the election. I have no doubt some of them would commit voter fraud and risk prison if they thought it could prevent him from another 4 years. Now we will get to find out.

It could get scary though if it would change the results of the election. We know the Liberals are ready to smash and burn as it is. Could you imagine if voter fraud was found and it resulted in a change of the results in favor of Trump? The Democrats would burn claiming that it was fixed. Just as some Republicans are saying now. The difference is the Republicans won't burn the country to the ground to prove it. They will just investigate and go through the courts.
