I thought Parsons was gonna be that guy, but it seems he ate the cheese, too.

Kearse and Wilson are still some hungry playmakers though.
Yes, he did.

I love Micah, but he did appear to start getting ahead of himself as of late. And I don't care for how he's insisted on playing garbage snaps just to chase numbers but then looks exhausted when we really need him.

And yes, I love Kearse's attitude. It's been a long time since I've seen a Cowboys give such a brutal and honest analysis of the team's play.

Micah Parsons is in his second year. And has had 13 sacks in both seasons, with this one having a few left to play.

It's amusing people are already starting to shit on him.

Only cowboys fans...
It's not shitting on him, it's just you want THAT guy of all people to be the standard both on the field and in the locker room.

And it's not some horrendous crime, but he was starting to get a little arrogant and sure enough, they let the fucking Jags put up 500 yards on them.

He'll be fine, I'm sure. But I hope these past few weeks have taught him and some others to keep their feet grounded and stay focused and leave the talk for AFTER the team accomplishes real things of note.

no mention of Tank.
I've always been a big fan of his.

He is arguably the hardest working player on defense and it's been that way for quite some time.

People just started shitting on him because he wasn't getting double digit sacks, but he never stopped being a damn good football player.

You won't find a better DE against the run than Tank. He is elite at run defense.

The defense will follow Micah's lead.

My hope is that he stays off social media, quits reading the news, and gets intently focused on his next opponent each week.

This team is notoriously terrible this part of the year, but everyone knows that he is capable of destroying that narrative.

His health and focus is a major concern, I'd say playoff success relies squarely on his shoulders.

If he's truly exhausted, find ways to get him off the field. Jabril Cox and Luke Gifford need some time these last few weeks. Gholston and Fowler need to step up.

We need fresh and focused Micah Parsons, please!
Yeah, he needs to sit out the final week of the season.

Not a single fucking snap.

In fact, if we lose to the Eagles this week, I significantly reduce his snap count for next week vs the Titans as well.

Of all people, he's the ONE guy we need to be 100% for the playoffs. And with how tired he's looked as of late, I honestly would consider giving him essentially a game and half off.

And not only that, but his effort.

Everyone marvels at how Micah uses his amazing athleticism to make plays up the field, but D-Law has been putting doing the same for years but from simply a raw effort standpoint.

That guy never ever gives up and I've always appreciated that about him.

I'm not going to be able to chatter this week. We are having our big family Christmas at our house tomorrow. But, thankfully, every where I will be (living room, kitchen, man cave, patio, etc) all have TVs and every one of the them will have the game on. It was a stipulation I made when we decided to have it here.

Sucks not being able to chatter with you lowlifes, but I knew it would be the Eagles this weekend, so when we were discussing it I made it clear the game would be on all over the house. No fucking way am I missing the Eagles game, especially not this year.

This game doesn't have a ton of meaning, but I want us to win it simply because it will help build the team's confidence going into the playoffs.

Even if it's Minshew starting, the players don't care about that stuff the way fans do so this win would go a long way towards getting this team's mind right for January.

But outside of that, it won't really help or hurt us unless the Eagles somehow collapse.

his stats are very similar to Parsons', aside from sacks.

Dude, I don't give one damn about this season. When we are playing the Eagles or Skins, I want to beat heir asses. Especially the Eagles, because I want their fans to suffer.
I honestly don't think this loss will bother them much because they'll still have a 2 game lead on the division.

Parsons is quite simply too small to rush the passer the vast majority of his plays. He will get worn down and his career will fade if they keep using him that way. I thought he was used way better last year. Now the coaches realized he's the best pass rusher on the team and it is hard not to use him there full time, but they gonna have to back off.

Does the first pass get forced to Gallup or Hilton? Jerry says they will both be involved.

I saw that he was dealing with an illness and just shrugged my shoulders because he's been largely invisible for the last month. Because the way he's been going, it's not like they'll miss having him in the lineup.
