I think I like Easley as a better prospect than Shariff Floyd last year. He's absurdly disruptive in the backfield in the highlights, only problem is his previous injuries. Seems like a standard second round pick we make, and I'd be fine with it
I like the player but the injuries concern me. We have such a habit of drafting these injury prone players thinking they are steals and then our coaches act like it's some sort of a fluke and surprise that all our star players are hurt.

The Houston Texans might not be deciding between a quarterback and defensive end Jadeveon Clowney.

According to a report by Peter King of TheMMQB.com, a source close to Texans' general manager Rick Smith says they like Buffalo linebacker Khalil Mack more than Clowney.

Mack, a 6-foot-3, 251-pounder, was the 2013 MAC Defensive Player of the Year. He had 100 total tackles, 19 tackles for loss, 10.5 sacks, five forced fumbles and three interceptions during his senior season.

If the Texans were to take him with the No. 1 overall pick, it would be the second consecutive year a player from the MAC was the top selection in the draft. Central Michigan's Eric Fisher went No. 1 in 2013 to the Kansas City Chiefs.

This also wouldn't be the first time the Texans made a surprise move with the No. 1 overall pick.

In 2006, many expected them to take Heisman Trophy-winning running back Reggie Bush or national champion Houston native quarterback Vince Young. But instead, the Texans selected defensive end Mario Williams as their top choice.

So we move down to 24 with Clev...draft a sliding Jernigan and with 71 we take Gabe Jackson. Killed it.

Watched the Game Changers with the QBs. I can see why some teams might be turned off by Bridgewater. I bet he is a crappy interview.

Could swap 2nd's but no way they give it up outright.
Move from 16 to 26, swap seconds (they give us 35, we give them 47), and they give us a third (71).

7 (238) - WR Cody Hoffman
*7 (248) - RB Antonio Andrews
*7 (251) - TE Jacob Petersen

You added Barr even though you didn't draft him.

Also, I don't know that I'm on board with Lawrence just yet. That trade down would offer a lot of possibilities, like Pryor.

Whoops, forgot to edit that. Holloman or Durant starts there. Flip with Carter.

Come on, that draft would be total win though.
That's a good draft. But I could also look at it and say that Dee Ford would be a better pick in the first. I'm not a huge fan of Crichton either but if I have an elite pass rush guy in Ford, I'd probably be fine with Crichton as my future LE. It's a good draft because we load up on the D-line and still get a starting caliber safety prospect. I could switch names on those D-lineman but I like it.

I was thinking about Dee Ford. I think Lawrence is underrated, though, I like his burst. I see a little DeMarcus Ware in him.

Another alternative to satisfy you DB whores would be to slot in Calvin Pryor at 26 and then get a pass rushing specialist like Chris Smith or Jackson Jeffcoat at 78. Maybe another DT like Kelcy Quarles.

Considering we'd be very lucky if most of those guys were available where you picked them hell yeah that would be a good draft...

I also doubt you get the swap & the 3rd from CLE, it's more of an either/or thing.
