Just to show you how the Joneses' do not understand how to manage money and talent, here is a blurb from an article when Ware was released.

Is Ware definitely worth $12.25 million coming off an injury-plagued year? Of course not. But the Cowboys have held on to guys like Miles Austin, Ken Hamlin, Terence Newman, Jay Ratliff, Roy Williams and the other Roy Williams past their expiration dates.
Ken Hamlin?

Both Roy Williamses?

Staggering.

The same man who was in charge of the purse strings then is the same guy now.

Except he plays a game and talks about not overpaying for average talent paid out then for shit.

Oh yeah, it is because when he talks about talent, he has no fucking idea what he is parroting.

I remember at the time being sad that Ware was leaving but thinking that maybe Jerry was finally going to stop overpaying injured players. Glad D-Ware got a ring. Wish it had been as a Cowboy.
