I wasn’t a huge mark for Ware, he never seemed to come up with that game changing sack when we needed it. I think he may have done it once or twice in big games, but whatever.

If that guy isn’t first ballot, first ballot isn’t even a thing anymore. He has the sacks, he has the longevity, he has the ring. What a bunch of bullshit.

Bryant Young was a good player. But what kind of numb nut puts him in over Ware. Just dumb and reeks of how bad the selection process is. I can all but guarantee the fact Pearson and Harris went in last year hurt him.
Complete retardation.

Bryant Young was great... but good lord Ware is an all-time great pass rusher.

That's the thing. Ware is better than all of the defensive players they let in. The only justification for it is they know Ware will get in, and those other guys have been waiting longer. It's like some kindergarten level shit where you have to wait your turn. That's not how it should work at all.

And it's sad because I think there is something a little extra special about being a first ballot hall of famer. And Ware should have been.

Yall act like he'll never get in. We know he will, it may take another year.

As Gosselin mentioned in his column today, there are other guys with more sacks who had to wait way longer.

That’s what we said about Jimmuh being in the Ring of Honor 20 years ago

Hopefully, Demarcus Ware is alive and healthy next year to experience his induction.

That isnt the point. Its about honoring the greatness of a player and someone that deserves to be in there over players that just dont.

This is 100% correct.

Jared Allen also a glaring snub. Also a two-team 1st All-Pro winner (four total), he proved it wasn’t just lightning in a bottle

Dwight Freeney next year is first-year eligible. We’ll see what treatment he gets - Jason Taylor or DW

Just occurred to me that Darren Woodson is no spring chicken, either. If Sam Mills was final year of eligibility, retiring in 1997, then Woodson only has six more years of eligibility remaining with his 2003 retirement.

WTF HOF voters. Get on it. The precedent has been set with the Sam Mills treatment.

You can only hope that the logjam was cleared with Butler. Otherwise, he gets the Cliff Harris treatment.

Ware was fully deserving of a possible first ballot, but I was hard on him.

I was one of those guys who expected every sack he had to be a strip sack.

In other words, being a spoiled bitch.

But anyways, how about that Bryant Young, eh?

He terrorized the league for years.

Many of us were spoiled bitches, myself included

Makes you wonder if some are doing the same with Dak Prescott now.

Probably, he has clear warts but he's pretty solidly a top 6-10 QB, and there may be a few seasons where he sneaks up to 4 or 5.

He needs a strong surrounding cast to succeed but you're going to spend alot of time losing if you throw away every QB who isn't a generational caliber player.

The problem is the money he commanded, although within the next 12 months he'll probably only be like the 5th or 6th highest paid QB by AAV, and ultimately alot of that is on Stephen anyway.
