So...you are a BI-guy? Good to know. I'd hate to get into any thorny situations with youNo, I'm a BI architect (thus the SQL statement in my sig).
And yes, that is what I was talking about Clay. If I was a draft pundit, was good at it and could get a job in a scouting department; then I would consider that job. Not everyone gets to say they got a SB ring (in whatever capacity).
I think this is what we used to call an efficiency expert.So...you are a BI-guy? Good to know. I'd hate to get into any thorny situations with you

So BI did somewhat evolve from EE?The problem was the EEs didn't understand the business itself. They wanted to apply a single strategy to all businesses.
So executive management started asking, how can you supply me the data where I can make sense of it.
And they Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence was born.
Then by all means bow out.Fellas, enough of the sleepy world of data and info. Fascinating as it is, I think people here find it tedious in the extreme. Suffice it to say that hs makes a good living, but BI is not what you call stimulating convo .
Sabermetrics is BI. Worked for the Oakland A's. And now sites like Football Outsiders and Pro Football Focus are using the same BI principles.Fellas, enough of the sleepy world of data and info.
