I said sorry.Harsh.
Those two were actually decent glue guys. Not especially talented, but character off the charts. If you can't win with Richie Anderson and Dan Campbell, you can't win with anybody.
He likes to tell people how he has to overpay because he wants to win so much. The only thing Jerry didn't overpay for was the team.
Anderson was a nice change from THam.Those two were actually decent glue guys. Not especially talented, but character off the charts.
Why would he time and again try to win on the cheap (Henson, Hutch, Romo, Prescott, Lance) when he's only won with a true #1 qb (Troy)? He likes to tell people how he has to overpay because he wants to win so much.
They won't know I'm bald if I wear this stupid headband all the time!
Wait a sec. Does he intend to continue with this look? It is like Elliott never left. When the nose rings appear, I am out.
And at that, it was a clear consensus that Troy was going to the Cowboys before the team was sold. So you can t really give him credit for that either. Why would he time and again try to win on the cheap (Henson, Hutch, Romo, Prescott, Lance) when he's only won with a true #1 qb (Troy)?
Super Bowl winning scout.Broaddus has spoken.
Obviously but what I'm saying is that there's more unknown potential there that could be cultivated than your average top 5 pick who plays three years and washes out. He could obviously never improve from this point forward but that's part of the calculated risk. That's a negative, not a positive.
The Browns traded a fifth for someone they knew could play at a high level in the league, whereas we forfeited a 4th for a pig in a poke. That's what bothers me.Risky is not the concern.
It's potentially a waste of a decent asset.
The current starting franchise QB was acquired with the same asset it took to get Lance, and yet people are acting like it's nothing.
No, it's not a first, but it wasn't "free".
