I actually agree with this. Right now he is our third QB on a deal that allows us to cut him at any time with no consequences. This is the equivalent of signing an undrafted QB to be our third stringer except he is 30 instead of 22.Weeden's probably not the worst QB in the world, but hoping for him to be anything other than a servicable backup is foolish to me. I certainly hope I'm wrong
As far as how he looked with the Browns I can't say I watched them play at all really. If anyone on this board is claiming they watched the Browns extensively last year I'd probably call bullshit. His TD to INT ration isn't bad for a young QB. His numbers don't look horrendous. Of course the Browns record over that span was horrendous and I don't think their defense was the main problem.
