Like most things on this team, we just have to hope for improvement from within if we hope to get any better. It's why you can't just look at teams off season's and evaluate what they will be the following year. But we put all of our chips on the improvement from within which I think is a mistake when it includes guys like Mazi.

As far as it's concerned that's basically what we had last year. I mean Gallup was awful. Tolbert, Brooks or whoever can't really be much worse than Gallup last year can they? Tolbert in year 3 just needs to be a 400-500 yard receiver to be what Gallup was last year. He had 268 last year, so that doesn't seem crazy to me with more opportunities.

Of course I think Jalen Brooks may end up better than him. But that may have just been the hype he was getting. We never really saw it.

I see improvement in the pass catchers. Cook has another year. Tolbert now in his 3rd and using Turpin more will be better. Plus Shoonmaker should have a larger role with more experience.

Cowboys did everything right on the Oline and we had a real chance to have an improved run game. Then they completely dropped the ball at the RB position.

Oline may have inexperience, but its younger and healthier. I would expect Beebe to be much better in the run game than Badiaz.

Steele should also be another year removed from knee injury and his play cant get worse than last year.

I agree with this. And I've mentioned a couple of times that I think actually having OL capable of practicing throughout the week should make a huge difference.

I think part of the problem last year was Tyron Smith's inability to practice mucked things up a bit on game days. I know Tyron was scoring well individually according to PFF's grades, but the timing and rhythm of the OL isn't nearly as sharp when guys aren't getting full speed practice reps together. Last season it sounded like Tyron was only doing walk throughs, then showing up to start on Sundays.

Especially when when the player next to him was a rookie... it'll be great seeing Tyler & Tyler "grow up" together. For too long, between Tyron's injuries and the "revolving" Conners, the left side of the OL has been an picture of inconsistency.

Yeah, I think the offense won’t be as good as we want and need it to be.

It has nothing at RB and not enough at WR and a QB who needs elite help.

Smith should have been cut or traded 2 years ago. Another veteran i am happy to see go.

I'm not as worried about the receiving end of things as long as Lamb and Ferg are healthy. It's the run game that worries me. I don't think Dak is going to win any big games without a run game to compliment him. At least one where we can run the ball well against a 7 man front. Or against a nickel defense. I just don't think Dak has the ability to slice up a defense that is focused on stopping our pass. A good defense anyway.
