You were not @ed.

You saw it. No Dick.

And you responded.

Very good.
You've called me that for 25 years. It's never bothered me before, why should it now? And you still haven't told me what I'm supposed to have a short memory over.

I'm confused, too.

Randomly nostalgic for what I want to say was Romo's first Thanksgiving game against maybe Tampa? I remember being on my uncle's back porch with my dad. Uncle was a Bengals fan and figured Romo would wash up within a year.

Dad died in 20 and that Uncle died a few months ago.

Nostalgia hits different once you start losing people. I'd give anything to be a kid again and just watch the Steelers Super Bowl with my dad one more time.

Good to see you, old buddy!

Terribly sorry for your loss, but it sounds like you have lots of great memories to hold onto.

Are you as psyched about the upcoming season as DCC is? :unsure

I don't know honestly. May seem weird but I haven't watched much football in recent years. Drifted off to reddit for keeping up with sports and chatting with random names you never even pay attention to by the thousand just doesn't hit the same. Also been working Sundays and Mondays for a good six straight years didn't help.

Back on a schedule where Sundays are off and just thinking about getting back into it. I miss it. Zimmer's back as DC so I need to be back. And we need to dig up Nors.

Bradie bottle lock it.

If I remember correctly you became a Raider fan, right? How long did that last?

It didn't. Truth was I was in a bad place with life, struggling to enjoy the game at all and trying to mix it up instead of just taking a breather.
Hopefully you are in a better head space now.

That said, why do you think following this dumb football team again is good for you?

I'm in a much better place these days. It took things getting really, really bad to break down and get help/deal with my shit.

Why not? Even when it was dogshit I always had a good time watching games with the chatter thread up.

Break my heart Jerry. Just like old times. :towel
