I've heard the words "beef tallow" more on this Thanksgiving break than I had the whole rest of my life.

Talk about trending...

Tell me if unnecessary step, but I preheat cooler with hot water for several minutes before dumping the water and then adding wrapped brisket to rest 2 hours
Can't hurt.

I’ve never tried it, but it sounds like it could work.

Just a heads up. If you have a Kroger grocery store in your area, they currently have brisket on sale.

I assume it's nationwide because a buddy of mine who lives in Atlanta bought a couple on Friday for practically 50% off. This morning I go to my local Kroger in Augusta and saw the same sale. I paid $30 for a 10lbs brisket.

I have not grilled a steak over coals in forever and I think I might be dying.

Do you have to get a permit to bbq in your local area?

The place I am renting just doesn't have the space.

Plus I am right next to an older couple that have never spoken a word to us.

I don't want to start a feud.

Smoked a Costco prime packer brisket yesterday, saw a video on Youtube where they talked about NOT wrapping, so I tried that.

Never again... the inside was still very moist, but the bark was too hard.
