I think it happened to us during the Parcells years.I wonder how many other teams have an OC that doesn't call plays. Not counting the HC calling plays, of course.
Who called plays?I think it happened to us during the Parcells years.
I feel like Todd Haley did briefly, over Sean Payton. It changed on a yearly basis though. Sometimes Parcells did.Who called plays?
Then I guess the better question is, other than this dysfunctional mess of a team, who else does this?I feel like Todd Haley did briefly, over Sean Payton. It changed on a yearly basis though. Sometimes Parcells did.
That was Parcell's idea. Then I guess the better question is, other than this dysfunctional mess of a team, who else does this?
Right, Carthon too.Weren't Payton and Mo Carthon co-OCs for awhile with Payton calling the plays? That was pretty strange
How do we know Callahan is discontent other than one reporter with an unnamed source saying so.Right, Carthon too.
I would bet it's not unheard of.
The bigger problem is why a coach who may be sowing discontent is allowed to remain on board.
That's true.Wasn't Callahan originally brought in just to be the OL coach? Then yeah, maybe Garrett did approve his hiring. Then it all went in the shitter when teh Jer insisted on promoting him to OC and play caller.
Callahan is an excellent offensive line coach. If the guy isn't discontent then I'm in no hurry to get him out of here. How do we know Callahan is discontent other than one reporter with an unnamed source saying so.
I hope he is not holding his breath, he could die before a team gives up a choice for an assistant coach. Wait. Hold your breath, Jerry.Maybe Jerry is holding out for a draft choice for Callahan from the Browns or Ravens.
