Most of those things are still looked down upon by the church. I doubt a pastor could get caught in an affair without having to resign.Or the adultery, fornication or divorce stuff.

Allow me to peruse the context of that.Corinthians, chapter 11, I believe.
Okay I checked it and this starts out as Paul requesting that the congregation please keep some of the Jewish traditions one of which was a woman covering her head when she prayed. It was neither a commandment or a Christian practice but rather a request by Paul to please continue this tradition.Allow me to peruse the context of that.
This is a personal opinion not held by all.I agree that you can be a bigot from any camp, a bully from any side, and that discrimination against Christians, whites, men, or the rich, is no more justified than any other kind of discrimination.
What I'm arguing against is the right of bigots to limit other people's rights. If I am pro alcohol, I am not discriminating against prohibitionists, if I'm anti segregation, I'm not discriminating against the segregationist. It may seem that way to the oppressors losing their right to oppress, but gay rights is about limiting oppression.. But to some oppressors it feels like a loss of rights.
In the fairytale of the innocent Christian baker, I'd side with the baker. But in the real world the kind of legislation being minted is meant to preserve the rights of bigots to be bigots, not for innocent Christians to unoffensively practice their religion.
All of which are taught for Christains not to practice but obviously it happens or there would not be references made about these practices. The actions of some who are involved in these behaviors does not negate the teaching to refrain from them.Or the adultery, fornication or divorce stuff.
There's a dude at the prison I used to work at who's doing a 30 for bashing in a chick's skull with a cement block. That's pretty violent and you'd think a female victim would enhance the sentence, but maybe they went easy because he plea bargained and he was 17 at the time. I can think of a few others. Probably a point with that judge, but it's not all that uncommon to hand out a 30.Not with that level of brutality and not for that judge.
It's even more common when a female committs the crime. For whatever reason judges and jurys tend to take it easier on a female who committs a crime. There's a dude at the prison I used to work at who's doing a 30 for bashing in a chick's skull with a cement block. They just have to cry a little and play for sympathy. It's even more common when a female committs the crime. For whatever reason judges and jurys tend to take it easier on a female who committs a crime.
His/Hers/Theirs. Make the government provide the third alternative and impose a special tax to those who promote the ideology. So bathrooms? What are we going to do? I know the LGBT community is real up in arms with laws dictating which potty you can use.
I'm sure they wouldn't be happy with that either. They want to be able to go in basically whatever gender bathroom they associate with. If you create a special bathroom for just transgenders it would probably be insulting to them.His/Hers/Theirs. That's okay. It is more to protect the privacy of those who are opposed to the shared imposition. Such as me. I am not to crazy about sharing my pee needs with females real or imagined.I'm sure they wouldn't be happy with that either. I'm not for forcing small businesses to bake cakes, but let's call a spade a spade. This is not a typical event. It's an irregular occurance that gets played up because it can let the people who have been bullying gays, feel like they're the ones being bullied.
Like seriously, one incident out of maybe 1000 of discrimination like this, can we say that the people who were discriminated against were at fault. Mostly it's just bigotry, mostly it's people who have decided that some shit that they have no reason to oppose, other than some instructions given to wandering Jews, taken out of context, is bad and they feel threatened by it, and THAT is why there's such a backlash, because people who were taught all their lives that gays and transsexuals were sub-human, have to behave like they aren't now.
Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of people who join the backlash, because of this BS narrative of poor helpless bakers, but they've just been manipulated into taking up for "their side". Just like how there's people who get outraged by the "war on Christmas" and other nonsense that champions of the over dog feel threatened by.
None of that infringes on your right to live life. Them forcing you to specifically do something does.you and your family is subjected to hearing their daily sex noises and kissing in the driveway, raising a kid, etc. That would infringe on more than my right to conduct business, but my right to live life.
1. Guns - No permits necessary. Open carry and anything. "Assault rifles", handguns, grenades, flashbangs, bazookas, etc.
2. Harassment in the Workplace - If you can't take it, quit and find another job.
3. Middle East - Just nuke the entire place. There's enough Muslims around the world to keep the religion going. Let the survivors open casinos or something. It worked out for the Redskins. As for eradication of religious sites, Christianity sure seems to have survived without knowing where the location of the Garden of Eden.
4. Contagious Disease - The entire populace with a transmittable disease that's fatal like HIV shall be quarantined.
5. Drugs - Open for anything. Wreck your own body if you choose to. For those worried about drug-related crimes, that's why we have Rule #1.
6. ADA - Eliminate ADA requirements to build this and that.
7. Immigration - Main requirement for US Citizenship is a rigid English test. Come to the United States, you must learn English.
8. English Only - No public use of anything except English.
9. NFL Draft - Saturday Rounds 1-2-3. Sunday Rounds 4-7. 10 minute time limit for Round 1 & 2.
10. Definition of an NFL Catch. 4 feet down (minimum 2 feet inbounds), or 1 "knee" with possession. Doesn't matter if falling to the ground or not.
It's gonna suck for some, but better in the long run.
Actually disappointed. Figured you to be a supporter for some of them.
