For the love of all that's holy, play Dalvin Cook already.

Problem is, can you have two old backs who don't play special teams?

I bet that's where the rub is. Activating Cook probably means Zeke is out. And I doubt Jerry could handle that.

Zeke shouldn't even be on the damn roster.

It's an absolute joke that we're still keeping him around.
Zero reason to keep him around. I don't even buy the, he is really good at short yardage, argument anymore. Ok, I'll give you that he is good at pass blocking, but we have a FB who can do that and who happens to be really good at catching and running with the ball.

Exactly.

Leupke can give you what Zeke does and then some.

It wouldn't surprise me if we're keeping all to protect Jerry's ego because it'll be yet another example of how passing on Henry was a big mistake.

Yeah, Jerry hitched his wagon to Zeke hard. He watched Zeke last year ok!!!! I remember him literally bragging about how good Zeke was last year at the end of the year. And it's ridiculous. But Jerry admitting he is wrong is not possible.

Tearing it up in practice? Against our defense? Checks out.
No kidding. How does a back "tear it up" in an NFL practice these days when they don't even tackle? I guess he isn't making blatantly terrible reads or blowing assignments.

FINALLY.

I know it's unlikely, but I would love it for him to go over 100 yards and look a million times better than what we've seen so far so we don't waste any more time on Zeke, and only use Rick like the 3rd stringer he should be.
