I'd give Shottenheimer a 10 year extension, extend Dak 5 years paying him 70 mil per, and hire Cooper Rush in any capacity that he'd accept.

Then the day he closes on his new house in Dallas, I'd fire him.

I'm not really a huge Harbaugh fan, I think he's fine but I also think he's benefitted by being in an extremely stable organization that is one of the best run in the league.

An organization that found him an elite future HoF QB late in round 1 when things started going downhill after their miracle Flacco run.

I think he's a high floor guy who can make any team competitive but he's also like 65 and doesn't seem to be a schematic genius like a Reid (he was only a ST coach before joining the Ravens).

I think he's a good coach for sure, similar to a McCarthy, but he's not some "drop everything you're doing and give him the keys to the kingdom" type like McVay and Shannahan are. In my opinion the mad dash to interview him is more an indication of how weak this HC crop is this cycle than Harbaugh being some boffo HC.
