Sounded like the whole team looked like crap.

But who knows from these practices. Saw some of it on NFL network and it didn't look like they were going that hard. It's always dicey when they aren't tackling to the ground.

That's why I don't like Tolbert. What is doing just jogging up there like that when they're wearing pads?

I watched the videos on the team site and the main thing I noticed is that there was lots of mixing and matching with DB's with the first team defense.

Guys like Booth, Troy Pride, and Bell were rotating in, along with two guys who I don't even know that were wearing 38 and 39 on a few plays. I can only imagine they're just kind of experimenting with the CB's, which explains why these media dullards first reaction was that the secondary was getting roasted.

Offensively the OL looked pretty shitty, Thomas in particular which wasn't surprising given that he was going up against Verse. I noticed Beebe looking pretty bad too on several reps. The passing game looked pretty good overall though, Lamb, Pickens and Tolbert all seemed to make legit plays within the confines of actual plays, not these BS things you see where in a real game it would've been a sack/throwaway but they keep playing through.

Not much to take from it overall, but that's what jumped to mind.
