OK, maybe I forgot about Sam and Kneeland.

I'm thinking of big, rugged players, though -- Inside players. I'll count Kneeland since that's more his game. Sam was a stupid Jerry pet potential pick and EZ is too early to judge, though again I wasn't really thinking lighter edge players.

Anyway.... maybe I was wrong on Burden? That move was pretty sweet.

Slowly but surely it's becoming obvious that outside of his running ability Daniels is not a special passer.

His stats so far are very underwhelming and most of what they do in the passing game is very manufactured with rub routes, screens and the like.

Even that last TD was a fake WR screen with one of the WR's faking a block before leaking upfield.

It's not a real read through progressions, it's a gimmick, it either pops wide open because the defense is fooled or Daniels runs for 3 yards or something.

They're going to lose because Williams is a joke. They've ran all over the place and manufactured big plays with screens and yet they can't trust this guy to do anything within the confines of a traditional passing game.

Daniels is miles more talented as a passer than Hurts but there's some similarity there in terms of the legs and the threat of the run being what really stirs the drink.

To me Maye is unequivocally better although it'll probably take the NFL hype machine a year or two to figure it out.
