The problem here is that they think he's a normal human who can be shamed.

When in fact he LOVES this. It plays right into his hands.

Not exactly. The Niners were a SB quality team when they did that. Conversely, we won't be playing GB in three consecutive NFC championship games. Or any championship games. Parsons might put them over the top, but it won't be at our expense because we were never an on-field threat to them to begin with.

That remains to be seen.

Our defense then was special. Just missing that one piece to put it over the top. Green Bay's? Not so much.

He's inconsistent for sure but I saw him stuff the run within a limited space (i.e. the A gaps) over the last half of last season well enough. He might be too much of an idiot to be a full-time starter anywhere but I think he could easily stick as a rotational run stuffer, and still might.

But I agree that he seems to have no idea what he's doing out there, Michigan must've really dumbed down what they were asking him to do.

Michigan also had a star studded DL. That is where it is hard to figure out if they were it or just a by-product. Thing is he was not even that impressive with the additional support.

It shouldn't be hard for a scout to tell if a DT is slow off the ball. If he is, he gets put in the undraftable box.
