If the stat showing 5 QB hits for Williams was right that's the most he's had in his career, and it's something Parsons has only done 5 times in 5 seasons, and most of those games were very memorable performances (i.e. Bengals in week 2 with Rush when we got a walk-off FG from Zuerlein, midseason at Minnesota where it was like 40-3).
And this was his first game here.
The guy has an argument as the best DT in the league and he's only about 18 months older than Parsons.
I think the best way to put it is Parsons is truly generational as an edge speed rusher, like a 10/10, and nothing Williams does is as good as the Parsons speed rush. But Williams is like an 8 or 9/10 both rushing the passer and in run defense, while Parsons is like a 5/10 in run defense.
So at the end of the day I think walking away with Williams, Clark, and moving up about 20-25 or so spots from our 2026 2nd into the 1st (roughly the equivalent of a 2027 1st in value) is probably at least neutral, and maybe a win if these pussies put their nuts on the table and actually make some moves to try to win it all next offseason.
