Jeez.. forgot he wears 33. What an embarrassment to the number
It's ridiculous.

Williams is Joe Average. He can get you 3-7 yards and nothing more than that.

Tony Dorsett was the opposite kind of runner. You couldn't wait to see his next carry because he could break a crazy gain, and whether he did or not, watching his electric acceleration was a guilty pleasure.

Tell that to half this message board...

Lamb didn't do it all on his own. I'll give a runner up trophy to Miles Sanders. But damn those drops were bad.

Yeah, the fumble was bad too. I’m just trying to be fair. I give Dak a lot of shit but I wasn’t worried about him last night.

I hope you aren't trying to argue that we've done any meaningful winning in the past 5 years.
No. As I explained. Ace was alluding to something that isn’t true. That being that we hang with Philly only to lose. That’s just disingenuous.

Yea, that's one of the main reasons I'm bullish on what we can do this year, relative to general expectations at least.

The over/under for the team is 7.5 wins (i.e. free money) and I'm expecting at least 9, if not upwards of 11 or even 12 if they get a few breaks. But the playoffs are another story obviously.

He didn't and never has been that player. He's always been a player reliant on others to win it. Romo was always better in that regard.
I’m the biggest Romo homer on this board and I have to defend Dak here.

Dunno what you’re expecting when your star WR is dropping 3rd and 4th down passes that are right in his hands except for one and even it was catchable.

Serious question, what would you have Dak do?

This is similar to the dumbasses who criticized Romo for throwing the winning pass to Dez that wasn’t counted instead of checking down to Shrimp Beasley.

He was fortunate that the Eagle defender dropped a sure INT deep in Dallas territory with little over two minutes remaining, and some of his passes to the flat betray suspect arm strength, and unlike Hurts he's not a real threat to run, but no, the drops weren't his fault.

Again, you guys need to do a better job with your reading comprehension.

What I said was, when the lights shine brightest and the moments matter the most, we always can just hang with these teams but never beat them.

That would have been a statement win last night which is exactly why we lost the game despite having 5 consecutive opportunities to take the lead.

On the bright side...

Williams was really good last night.

He didn't just take the yards that were there, he showed good vision and he ran hard.

He got some really tough yards last night which coupled with the solid run run blocking we got last night could bode well for this offense's potential for developing into a physical unit -- something that has been sorely missing since about 2019.

He's fine, a decent enough replacement for Dowdle who can keep things on track, but we need Blue to get his shit together so we can get some playmaking in the backfield.

Considering the weapons we have in the passing game there should be plenty of opportunities in the run game.

Dak and the offense will only improve as it becomes second nature to absorb what all that motion is telling them about the defense.

It was more like he wasn't a fragile bitch like some folks we had been playing, in particular his key 3rd and 1 conversion where he drove forward after a full speed collision.

That was fine, and our OL paved some space too, but Barkley on the other team made it clear we can definitely do better here.

That physical running is what Sanders can't do at all and where I really think Blue might struggle. Man-- gotta get that mofo Mafah out there.

Are you talking about the one that Lamb fell down on? Because that was an easy completion if Lamb didn't fall down and go full retard. Or the one that clanked off Lamb and was almost intercepted?

I don't have a recording of the game. It was the one with almost two minutes left. I remember it being more on Dak than Lamb.

Yeah I'm remembering the one pass to the right, Mitchell was in coverage against Lamb. Lamb for some reason just fell down while the ball was in the air and it almost went right to Mitchell. That one was entirely on Lamb, actually would have been an easy catch for him if he didn't fall on his face. But there were a lot of throws to Lamb so maybe we are talking about two different plays.

Reminds me of when he jumped on the fumble in Pittsburgh.
