Yeah and supposedly him and Jerry had the agreement all worked out on the surface from their discussion on the field. I just think it's all a bunch of bullshit. I just don't care about Parson's and his contract anymore. Parson's will be there when the season starts.

I could easily see it being about years and not money necessarily, they want 5 and Parsons (his agent) want 4. It's also something they'll probably cave on at the last minute like with Dak.

The solution, if they had brains, would be to just do a 4 year deal after the 3rd year of the rookie contract instead of the 4th year, which would be the same thing as doing 5 years after the 4th.

I agree with the body of your post, but we all know the heart of the problem is ownership. Their methodology is flawed, their football talent evaluation skills are mediocre and the real kiss of death is their refusal to change as the NFL landscape changes. It’s not the 90’s anymore.
The Eagles wholesaled out almost a complete roster and coaching staff after winning a SB and still won another one while our resident fucktards have sat around yapping about SB trophies “they” won while 75% of their current fans weren’t even alive.
No roster or player matters in Dallas as long as Jerry is alive. Stephen might…might…be heckled and browbeat into hiring a GM when PT is pushing up daisies.
