Given how Stephen is strutting about talking about extensions I'm half expecting them to extend Tyler, Bland and maybe Aubrey or something over the next 2-3 weeks while Parsons is still hanging around.
He’s our modern day Leon LettWhy the fuck would they extend Retard Sam?![]()
Everything is almost exactly the same between them in terms of accomplishments, stats, how far they've went in the playoffs, having superstar skill position talent at various times, up and down defenses, so on and so forth.
We can quibble about this defense vs. that defense or 2014 Murray vs. 2016 Elliott, but at a macro-level there's very little difference between the two.
It wont get done before FA. The hillbillies are that ignorant even when the reasons for signing them early are pointed out to them.
It's either going to get done in the next 4 weeks or they're going to franchise him next year and probably drag shit out until maybe this time next year.It wont get done before FA. The hillbillies are that ignorant even when the reasons for signing them early are pointed out to them.
Yea I remember at some point in the last year or so this joker implied he'd be just fine on something around 30/year.I thought Parsons said he didn’t have to be highest paid defensive player. Wonder what changed?

And then handing out the same contract they could've agreed to months beforehand anyway.Lamb, Dak (Twice), Micah...
Nothing like creating animosity between you and your best players.
Good job hillbillies.
I’m sure I’ll get smacked in the head for saying this, but let’s get it out there. I love Parsons, but he’s a one trick pony. I love his motor, I love the passion but at the end of the day he’s not big enough to rush 40 plays a game and it shows in the late season.Yea I remember at some point in the last year or so this joker implied he'd be just fine on something around 30/year.
Between him and Dak you got two of the biggest liars imaginable, I'd respect them more if they just came out and said they want to maximize their contracts as much as possible.
I agree 100% and have said the same thing for awhile. How can you demand to be the highest paid DE ever when you are a total liability against the run at that position? You're not Miles Garrett who is a nightmare rushing the passer and can hold your ground at the point of attack against the run and it is a joke that he would be paid more than him.I’m sure I’ll get smacked in the head for saying this, but let’s get it out there. Maybe they’ll use him a bit differently this season but it’s a lot of handwringing for a dynamic LB who is used more like a DE because Hillbilly Ownership is too lazy and cheap to sign true difference makers at DE.
My worry is the way he recklessly rushes the passer and the way OL hold him and pull him. We’re literally one play away from him popping an ACL or an Achilles and being done for the year or worse yet being half of what he was before he signed his upcoming break the bank deal.
I also worry about this in a scheme like Eberflus' that historically doesn't have much disguise or variety.I agree 100% and have said the same thing for awhile. If Parsons was wrecking havok from every position on defense like his rookie year, I'd have no problem with his demands.
We'd be much better off in a 3-4 these days if we had a nose.I also worry about this in a scheme like Eberflus' that historically doesn't have much disguise or variety.
Maybe he's added some wrinkles, but if we could get a huge haul (two 1's, a 2 and 3) I'd definitely consider it, especially since Ezeiruaku is another undersized guy.
