This fucking dumbo reports on the team for money and doesn't even know when they're playing who.
So I'm assuming he meant to say Thanksgiving. Because I can't imagine their optimistic asses are hoping he is ready by Christmas... The season is almost over at that point.

We play the Chiefs on Thanksgiving, so assuming he's even right about that part then yes.

I think around Thanksgiving was roughly the expectation to begin with, so I assume that's the case.

Yeah I've heard that there are hopes he is ready at some point in November. So Thanksgiving sounds somewhat reasonable.

Yeah, big disappointment. Seems like a player that is gonna be constantly hampered by injuries.
He’s an average player who’s going to be lifted by the play of the offense around him, just like Schultz before him. If he’s got three WR’s clearing zones all around him and a running game planting safeties’ eyes in the backfield, Dak is going to find him all day.

Yea and much like Schultz I'm sure he'll be getting a second contract elsewhere.

The TE position worries me, not that anything can be done about it now.

Why?

We don't have true playmakers but Ferguson and Schoonmaker are a functional, generally capable duo. Given what we have at WR it's fine.
I am greedy. We have two highly functional WRs and the position should benefit from that.

I don’t think we have the right guys to do that.

Yea but if we had a top tier TE we'd have the makings of probably the best offense in the league.

If you look at the TE's on the other teams that have top 5ish WR duos you see good but not elite guys like Goedert, Gesicki, Jonnu Smith, Hockenson and Cade Otton.

Ferguson fits comfortably into that group, and the only really elite TE there is that's paired with an elite WR duo is probably LaPorta, although I think their WR duo is a tier below ours.

It's easy to forget about it now, but Ferg was really good two years ago. There's a reason everyone was so excited about him. I don't know what happened last year, but maybe that's the real Turd and last year was a fluke.

Wait and see, I guess.
