Exactly. This is like when the perennial playoff teams who are in the 20s have good players fall to them. Yes, they're good players, but they aren't high-value positions.

Seems like we could have done more and better.
That's the way I see it as well.

We're not going to be able to catch up with the Eagles and Commanders without the addition of a couple more playmakers on offense.

After all the Booker RKG and leadership talk the last 12 hours, :lol if we draft Mike Green
He's the BPA everywhere I look. Like I said, the NFL spooks must have found nasty shit in his past related to the sex stuff.

Sturm Article: We are on to Day 2.

Last thing here. Here is what is left on the Sturm 75, but keep in mind that there will be many players taken immediately that I have not personally evaluated:

And here it is in the form of a board:

I do like what will be there at No. 44 and No. 76. I still think we can add two exceptional players before Day 2 ends. I think WR, CB, and RB are going to be fine, but DT is getting thin pretty quickly.

Here are the 25 names I am looking for picks 44 and 76:

CB: Revel, Johnson, Morrison, Amos, Thomas
DT: Collins, Toia, Walker
WR: Royals, Burden, Harris, Noel, Higgins, Bech, Restrepo
RB: Henderson, Johnson, Judkins, Harvey, Skattebo, Sampson
Edge: Tuimoloau, Umanmielen, Swinson, Scourton

I am sure we can add to this list and you should probably not just look at needs on Day 2, but theoretically, if the Cowboys have two of these players by midnight, I think I would probably be pretty pleased.

We shall see and talk more tonight in the chat and tomorrow morning here.

That's exactly what it is. They mentioned it several times in the PC last night.

We've talked about it on here, but they are so proud of those teams from ten years ago, like they were the early 90s teams or something. It's pretty sickening that to them, even though they won one playoff game, that was massive "success."

I'll wait to see what we do tonight before I slam the Booker pick.

He's a good player but the Cowboys desperately need playmakers. WR and RB are far bigger needs than an IOL.

Two WRs who I really like, Higgins ad Burden, are still out there. The Ohio State RBs are still in play as well.

If they can walk out of tonight with one of the top remaining WRs and a RB, that Booker selection doesn't look so bad, IMO.

I would feel better also.

But not totally better because the problem is that I don't think guard was really a need, or at least could have been addressed much later. They already had 4 big needs and only 3 top 100 picks to address them with.

So now even if they take one of the good remaining RBs and WRs, they are out of top 100 picks to address DT and CB.

Taking Booker at 12 just wasted the potential of a very good asset when we put ourselves in a position to not really be able to afford to do that. It's very hard to make up for that.

Warren would have been nice even as a TE.
