We might actually be in range for him with Prescott out for the year. I wouldn't love the inevitable bs chatter due to the Deion angle but Hunter is pretty clearly the top prospect in the class.

So there's probably at least a 70% chance that Colorado is in the Big 12 championship at ATT this year, if Hunter has a big game and we end up in the top 3-5 with him on the board is there any chance we pass?

I agree, my only issue with him is that he seems to have some diva tendencies, he gesticulates wildly at the QB a few times a game when throws are off or whatever.
But yea, I think you just try to deal with that and hope he matures a bit.
And I agree that you play him at WR.

I also think there's a better than zero chance that if we're at 4 or 5 that him and Deion try to force his way to Dallas. Deion has already made noise about doing something like that and if the top 3 is Patriots, Jaguars, Browns or something along those lines I could easily see it happening.

I wasn't overly worried about Jeanty's workload a few weeks ago but this is now 4 straight games of 30+ carries, and with 4-5 games to go and the playoff pressure starting to rise, this guy really might end up getting 350-375+ carries on the season.
It's probably moot at this point since we should be hovering somewhere around 4-7, but god damn.

Someone post Brugler's new top 50, a cliff notes version has Hunter at 1, Abdul Carter at 3, Malaki Starks at 4, Jeanty at 6, Jalon Walker at 7, Mykel Williams at 8, Mason Graham at 9, Pearce at 12 and Scourton at 17 (too low in my opinion).
Those are basically the only guys I'm really considering with our inevitable top 10 pick.
An interesting one is Derrick Harmon at 14, I knew he was ascending but thought of him more as a guy who goes in the 20-30 range, I'll be keeping an eye on him as a potential backup option if we end up around 8-10.

That was the text response from an NFL scout when I asked how he would stack the 2025 NFL Draft’s quarterback prospects. Teams are not excited about this group of passers because each feels more like a risky bet than a safe one.
That doesn’t mean one or two won’t be drafted in the top 10. That doesn’t mean a few of these quarterbacks won’t eventually become established NFL starters.

But with all of the varying opinions throughout the league, the only consensus at this stage in the process is that teams are struggling to find positive conviction on any of these QBs.
We still have more than five months until the 2025 NFL Draft kicks off from Green Bay, including several pivotal games on college football’s regular-season schedule and the expanded College Football Playoff, which will create fluctuation in these rankings. After that, the underclassmen deadline, all-star games and pre-draft workouts will play crucial roles in shaping the final board.
But this top 50 is based on what we know right now, including updated tape and buzz from around the league. There are plenty of changes from the preseason rankings in August, including a new No. 1 prospect.

Luther would be terrible. Undersized, not that productive. No idea why he rates so high. He looks like a second round talent to me. But hey, I could be wrong. Maybe he is awesome and his QB just sucks so I can't see it.

Derrick Harmon and Kenneth Grant both looked awesome today, I'd be happy with either in the teens.
I'm sure if Jeanty is there he'll be the pick (and I wouldn't argue it) but this DT class is ridiculously deep. Nolen looked really good against Miss St. too, although I'd prefer someone better against the run.
