Don't think I even noticed it before, but please let the Giants take Shedeur Sanders. Please.

sports illustrated:

17. Dallas Cowboys
Biggest needs: DL, RB, WR

The pick: Deone Walker, DL, Kentucky

For as tempting as Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty is at this spot, Walker is a logical choice. A space-eater inside, the 6'6", 345-pound Walker was a team captain as a sophomore at Kentucky while earning first-team All-SEC honors. His numbers won’t wow—he’s recorded just 11 tackles and five quarterback hurries through four games—but his impact goes beyond the stat sheet, and his blend of size and athleticism would be a welcomed addition to the Dallas defense.

I mean the guy is a monster and at least produced a pretty impressive number of sacks last year. So you know he is capable of being more then a speed bump. I really want a draft that is stacked with some talented DT. But I don't know enough about the class yet. And then I look at early rankings and see like 2 Michigan DT's in the top 5 or so rankings is just sort of makes me go guh. Nothing against Mason Graham or Kenneth Grant for example. They might be excellent DTs. But after Mazi and Taco I just don't know if I can argue for a Michigan D-lineman.

I'll wait and try to judge these guys individually apart from their school. I've seen some stuff where Mason Graham looks really impressive. But right now Deone Walker is the DT I like if we are going early. And we will need a DT badly next year. Osa is all but gone. Mazi is a bust. And we literally have no one else I can think of that is a DT who will be on the roster beyond this season. It's going to be scary if we don't address it. Even scarier than this year.

Yeah, I haven't studied it at all, but Graham looks like he's for real. I wouldn't hold it against him that he went to Mazi's school.

The biggest thing is, we can't be enamored with Sparq scores anymore. The guy has to love football and all the dirty work that position requires.

If Graham was from anywhere else but Michigan I'd be all-in on him, he's really strong against the run and has upfield ability as well, but I'd be lying if the Michigan thing didn't give me some pause. Tyleik Williams is legit too, so between those two and Walker you have three guys who should be first rounders pretty comfortably.

I don't think you'll see all three of them going top 20, so DT should be in the conversation almost no matter where we end up in the first.

At least these aren't 0 sack guys, minimal TFLs who are being sold as amazing run suffers. They have at least made some plays.

I agree on Graham too. I think athletically he is quick and can change directions really well. He plays powerful. Gives great effort.

If he played for any other school I'd probably all over drafting him. Michigan though, it really feels like after Mazi Michigan Dlineman shouldn't even be an option. But truth is, Mazi doesn't prevent an actually talented DT from going to Michigan.

The other thing is that the main issue with both Mazi and Taco was that they were fuckheads who didn't take football seriously, that's not a Michigan thing necessarily, it's just something that our scouts missed.

Hutchinson might be the frontrunner for DPoY right now and he went to Michigan, so even though it does give me some pause, it's pretty much irrelevant.

Jourdan Lewis is one of the scrappiest players this team has had the last couple decades, so I agree...it's not a Michigan thing.

Since we’re picking in the top 10 this year, what do you guys think will be the focus?

O-Line? WR? Linebacker? DT? S?
