I think he's basically a DT now, he definitely looks a good 20 or so lbs. heavier than the 270 he's listed at.

Yeah, I have no idea. But he is a DE that plays some DT. Or maybe now he is a DT who plays some DE. Either way he is still undersized for DT, big for DE and not a good pass rusher. I hadn't really noticed the guy at all but had been hearing that the Cowboys liked him. To me he is a practice squad quality player. Winfrey is a more pure DT. Which we absolutely need in my opinion with the shit depth we currently have at DT.

Glad to hear it. I think he has off the field issues that have stunted his career up to this point. I hope he takes this last chance and makes the most of it because I do think he has physical gifts.

No you get more. Only two that don't have to be on the roster for 1 day.

And I bitch about Goodwin every year so I won't rehash it. But just a waste of a roster spot.

Well all things considered, I think they got it almost exactly right this year. No real complaints. Which is nice.

We had others before him. It is how we construct the roster. You might as well count on four specialists instead of three that do nothing else of consequence.

Agreed, keeping Goodwin is annoying as fuck but whatever.

Keeping Mazi is probably dumb too, but at least I sort of get wanting to give him one last chance. If (when) he doesn't do shit I'm sure he'll be gone midseason or so.
