You all can rest easy now. Tech is handling a powerhouse 37-0 in the 2nd quarter. That NIL money is paying dividends already.

In all seriousness, don't sleep on Tech's defense this year.

I'd say Nussmeier is easily the best QB I've seen today.

Agreed, most of these guys were very underwhelming but it's also week 1 and there's a long way to go.

The only real takeaway is I can't see Manning coming out after this season. He may just flat out suck in which case it's all moot anyway, but even if he plays well he's so underdeveloped that he needs an extra year, and the general consensus already seemed to be that he'd go back for another year anyway.

Honestly any QB who doesn't start for more than one year in college football is dooming their NFL career in my opinion anyway. You need real game reps and experience to develop. And trying to do that in the NFL without enough experience doing it in college leads to failure almost every time. Manning even if he is really good should take 2 years starting in college just to give himself the best chance for success in the NFL.

I'm not going to judge the guy from game one starting against Ohio State. It's just not really fair. Plus Texas is starting new receivers and all that stuff.

This Spencer Fano guy is extremely legit.

I know we've gone OL in the first 8 years in a row but if we find ourselves in the top 10 and the QB situation is meh, I wouldn't be against it at all.
