The offense is just broken. The defense at least has a little more of an excuse.
The offensive design isn't creative enough to make up for having literally the worst RB room in the league.

I think everything else (offensively) could be worked around if we had even an average running game, although the fact that the defense can't get a literal single stop every other game would ruin whatever offensive structure you have as well.

That feeble answer deserves a few more hard questions. I wish they were more inclined to make him uncomfortable and push. "I just do." In the past, that would make me mad enough to break furniture. Now, I am amused.

Yeah, I expected a Lions beat down but at least thought our offense would keep it within 2-scores until middle 3rd.

Instead of continuing last year’s offensive roll, this year has been a shit soufflé of the worst attributes the last 5 years.

Yep, I don’t give a shit what anybody says, I don’t care if they call me a fake fan, I don’t care what they say about me. I root for nothing but misery for that old motherfucker because he has ruined a team that I have loved and adored since I was seven years old, and even worse he has slowly and steadily run it into the ground for the last 30 years.

Unfortunately nothing is gonna change until that POS fake GM is 6 feet in the ground and even then I don’t even know if it’s gonna change but until then this season is all about rooting for him to have a microphone stuck in his face after every game to ask him why he sucks at his job.

100%. I don't even think it'll change after he dies, unfortunately. I would gladly watch them drop every single remaining game on the schedule by multiple touchdowns.

I’d listen to a trade offer From Lions for Parsons unless there is a plan to commit to a 3-4 D in the future.
Lo, Master Belichick shall soon maketh his arrival, and with him shall cometh the 34 defense, which shall draw forth the mightiest from Noble Micah.

Be thou patient, good commoner

The point in the game when I knew they weren't serious about doing what it took to get back into the game was when the score was 17-3 and they were still trying to run Zeke.

That told me right there that they were more interested in coddling a washed up player than putting their best players on the field.

Also, the level of effort and "want to" by the supposed leaders on this team has been lacking all year, but it was particularly bad yesterday.

If he had an ounce of pride in him, Diggs should be ashamed of himself for what he did yesterday. The guy is probably one of the top 5 highest paid CBs in the league and gave us that bush league effort. There are literally guys on the practice squad who would have been an improvement over that mess.

From the little of the game that I did watch, I was surprised that Detroit didn't run it to Diggs' side of the field more often.
