Dak needs to start using the young WRs more. You can't just rely on Lamb. Cook doesn't look that fast anymore either. Brooks and Tolbert are just going to have to be relied on. Think of them what you want but when Dak went into desperate mode yesterday and actually started using them, things went well.

On defense guys just need to do their damn jobs. It's infuriating when you see a DE crash inside only to see the sweep or RB go outside of them and get a big gain. To see a team run back to back screens and no one seems to be aware. This defense has totally reverted to the Quinn style of just rush and try to make a play. It looks silly. There is no scheme to it. Zimmer needs to get these shitheads back under control.

And the run game. I think the blocking is better than the results. Deuce and Zeke look like total wastes on the field. Dowdle is ok. Leupke looks good at what he is doing. I'd just totally replace Zeke with him in the offense. And if Cook isn't an improvement then fuck it, cut these turds and pick guys off other teams practice squads.

Anyway, it's never as bad as it seems. But Zimmer should be fuming right now.
Giving up about 45 yards on back-to-back screens in the 2-minute drill right before the half yesterday was completely unforgivable, it's not a lack of talent or skill, that's just pure stupidity and lack of focus.

It's also even more ridiculous when you consider that they let Kamara pop a 5 yard dump off for a 50-yard TD just the week before.

There's no way the pure talent is this bad, it's the culture, coaching, toughness, whatever you want to call it.

Or Carson getting beat on a short pass that turns into a massive gain because he blows the tackle. Like where are all the other guys hustling to the ball? Just looks like shitty effort and discipline out there.

But mostly shitty effort by Carson himself.

And you know he can do it, because after that he tackled with about 10x more intensity. He was just lazy on that play, which is unacceptable.

Doesn't help that he was treated as a near-star already before he played a single NFL game. They even held him out in preseason because he was so untouchable. Completely ridiculous.

I think this is a big part of the problem. You're teaching a new scheme and then turn around and hold all these guys out of preseason. Of course they all feel like they are already stars. You're treating them that way.

Don't forget the Agholor catch and run for about 50 yards due to a missed click it from the seat belt and literally nobody behind him on defense.

I saw a stat that Jackson only attempted one pass over 10 yards, there is not a single NFL defense that would allow 28 points that way unless there was a major issue with toughness, culture, focus, etc.

I barely watched yesterday's game.

I caught the first quarter all the way up to when CD fumbled in the redzone then took off from there to eat some bbq and drink some beer and when I returned, the last Cowboys offensive drive was just starting.

I'm guessing I'll be missing a lot of games this year because I just don't care a whole lot.
It’s awesome to not give a shit. I actually watch to see the cameras pan up to dipshit and son looking shocked in their skybox.

Yea, this was sort of fated ever since they didn't fire him after the playoffs last year.

Whether it's conscious or subconscious the team knows McCarthy is likely gone unless they do something the organization hasn't done in 30 years. That's why I was so comfortable betting under 10.5, all it took was a little adversity and I knew these guys would pack it in.

I don't think they're there yet, but it could happen at any time.

If they lose to the Giants they could easily tailspin to like 2-6.
I’m hoping they lose the next 2-3 games. I’m sorry, it’s not what I should be doing but these nut licking fans and Jerry deserve every bit of shit that would be headed their way.

Kendrick looks rather pedestrian too all of a sudden.

I don't think there's anything wrong with not caring what happens right now, Jerry/Stephen clearly don't but are glad to feed us bullshit about how they're doing everything they can, so fuck em.

Like I was telling @Cotton, either we play like we have the last few years and start winning games, or we lose enough that the fans are furious and Jerry gets real heat for the first time in years.

He was already irritated being asked about the pitiful RB room after Week 2 -- imagine how much more there will be if this keeps up.

Either way, we win.

This is why I think it's going to be Belichick. Jerry will be desperate and wanting to get the heat off his ass, plus it may have already been the plan for 2025 regardless of how bad this year goes.

Obviously if we somehow make the NFCC McCarthy will likely be back, but aside from that it's very possible that Belichick was the 2025 plan whether we go 6-11, 9-8 or 11-6.
