Jaguars seconds from 0-2 start.

Doug Pederson may be available for Dallas 2025

I'm guessing that Rescue High Surf might of a better quality than the Cowboys defense.

I get what @Genghis Khan was getting at and he was right -- Dak wasn't and isn't the reason why we're losing this game.

But he's also done nothing to make things better and he alone left an extra 8-12 points off the board by missing numerous big yardage throws and making poor decisions on critical downs.

It's games like these where you need your franchise QB to play like a franchise QB and elevate not only his own play, but the play of the others around him.

But he didn't do that today because that's something he isn't really capable of doing on any day, which is exactly why so many of us did not want the Cowboys to pay him the money that he did.

So yeah, he's not why we lost or why we got into the hole that we did, but he also didn't make the plays that were there that would have kept the game closer for a little longer either. And when you're being paid what he's being paid, you're going to draw the ire for every little thing you don't do right and for good reason.
Perfectly said.

It's why I was perfectly content taking the salary cap hits rather than spinning our wheels with this overpriced QB. It also doesn't help when the lazy owner/GM simply throws his hands up during the offseason and uses the QB's salary as an excuse to not acquire talent.

If that's your philosophy when it comes to QBs with high salaries, why even bother re-signing Dak in the first place? We're 8+ years into this....you should know by now that he's not one of those QBs who can do more with less.

On the plus side I phased out of Cowboys losses bothering me. 10 years ago a loss like this would have put me in a bad mood until Thursday. Now I just shrug it off and immediately move on with my life.

I have to thank Jerry for that. Once I realized winning wasn't a priority for him, it stopped being a priority for me.

Vs Geno Smith and Baker Mayfield, the improvement of play on the field with Prescott isn't worth the extra ~$25M/YR

It’s like they don’t have enough good WRs
I’m old enough to remember when we had a kingmaker that couldn’t get any help from a defense or an offensive line until his back was already gone.

Is that little Samoan guy on defense way undersized, or is it just me?
