Truth is we’ve tried to draft a stud up front for years now and it just hasn’t happened

We suck at drafting DT’s, despite the decent quality of Odighizuwa. Kneeland may develop in time, but he’s a DE.

When your two interior guys consistently get blown off the line and your LDE weighs 240 pounds a balanced offense can tear you up. A Shanahan-tree offense called well (and on turf as well) can have it’s way with you.

I’ve not seen this FO try to draft any true stud DTs in years. Jerry and his inbreds don’t seem to value the position for whatever reason, instead they prefer undersized fast players along the DL similar to what JJ liked. It’s weird how they seem stuck in time on many areas of the team.
The Eagles invested heavily in their DL and were gashed in the run game last night by the Falcons, but they did have a very consistent pass rush- something else we have struggled with for a while. Parsons is either a terror or disappears during games. It’s maddening.

Was great to hear Peyton wonder why the Eagles were calling long-developing routes on 3rd & 4.

I can't imagine that Kellen Moore can survive more than another season or two before he's out of the NFL and coaching in the collegiate ranks which is where he belongs.

The guy is not an NFL playcaller.

Yeah, he must have a different definition for stud than I do because outside of Mazi Smith, we haven't used either of our first two round draft picks on a defensive tackle since I don't know when.

And we haven't gone after a quality defensive tackle in free agency that was playing at a really high level at the time that we signed him since La'roi Glover and that was all the way back in 2002.

So I have no idea what my guy Ravi is talking about.
