He looked very serviceable two years ago, even winning tough games on the road. Today he looked terrified to throw it more than five yards downfield, and couldn't even complete the easy ones in the flat. Very strange.

He had much better offensive weapons 2 years ago and a running game worth a shit, and those things helped him immensely.

Oh, and we got wins from the Saints, Panthers and Patriots today, pretty solid for the tank.

I assume our ceiling for the rest of the year is 5 wins, I can't see how we win 3 more unless a bunch of teams start losing QB's.

Yea but that's because a bunch of teams are 3-7 and we've only played 9.

But the more important thing is I don't see any path towards us winning many more games, whereas a bunch of teams ahead of us/tied with us play each other.

The key will be the Giants/Panthers games, if we lose one of them I think we're basically guaranteed to be top 5ish.

At what point should we shut down Lamb, Parsons, Tyler Smith, Overshown and Diggs? And presumably Bland, although I'd argue he should just be shut down now.

I think it's fine to give them a few more games to just keep things flowing but if it were me I'd shut them down in early December.

Unless they are injured I wouldn't shut down any of them at all. I fail to see the benefit of doing that.

Not popping an ACL and having them miss the first half of 2025.

I don't see any reason to play them the last 4-5 games when we're sitting at 4-9, as long as they go through a normal offseason there won't be any rust.
