JJ hasn't even had a 1000 yard season. There are 17 fucking games now. 59 yards per game. Guy gets 41 mil guaranteed. Insane. CD and Jefferson should demand 50 mil per.

This seems like a very stupid trade for the Titans given the finances involved.

Sneed is a good corner, but sheesh.

These players seem to be earning a lot of money, Winthorpe.

The only thing I'd change would be to swap Texans and Bucs between South divisions.

You can't have the Giants and Jets together, and why keep them together yet separate Miami and Tampa or Dallas and Houston?

I say keep tradition alive to a degree but respect geography enough to create new rivalries.

AFC.....................................................................NFC
West
: LA Chargers, Denver, KC, Vegas.................Seattle SF, LA Rams, AZ
Central: Tennessee, Cin, Indy, Cle...........................Min, Detroit, Chicago, GB
East: Buf, NYJ, Bal, Pitt..................................................NYG, Philly, Wash, NE
South: Jax, Carolina, Tampa, Miami.......................NO, Dallas, Atl, Hou

It would suck breaking up the NFC East of the last 40-50 years, but Boston is a more natural rival for NY, Philly, and Washington than Dallas ever was. It would also save on travel time, which should be a real consideration.

Yeah, a huge no to changing the entire league around for shorter flights. Nobody cares about that except for maybe the climate change nutters, who probably hate football anyway.

And this would be happening at the same time college football is doing away with regional alliances. Now USC is in the same league with Penn State, for God's sake.

But no way is Jerry going to give up rivalries with the big East markets to play Houston and New Orleans. Nor should he.

Well they really want a team in London so I don’t think travel time is a big concern for the league anymore.
We know they’d love that, but there’s been nearly no progress towards an actual London team since they started playing at Wembley in 1986.

They can spark interest here and there, but the logistics make it very hard unless you have a playable league in Europe, which was the next thing they tried with the WFL farm league. That fell apart because it was not on par with the NFL and an easy thing to stop doing to save money.

If they had a clever incentive pay scale or something that would let them attract talent it might be a start, but bottom line there just isn’t enough of a feeder system starting in at least high school to make that real.

Even a Mexico City team would be a challenge, though Canada might be promising because at least there they have high school football.

You are dead on here, and the other East teams would hate to give up Dallas. Hell the Cardinals made a major stink about losing their annual guaranteed sold out game vs Dallas back when the NFL realigned from 5 team divisions.
