Yeah I agree, I don't think you can assume the number of illegal voters in that election was enough to swing the election. Do illegal votes happen? Absolutely. Do we have any idea what those numbers are? I don't think we ever would find out.
That's the point.
Are we talking about Obama's election, or 2020? Because yes, Obama didn't have to cheat to win coming off Iraq and the financial meltdown. Not so much in 2020 given all the evidence with the mass mail-in ballots.
2020 is different. Trump scared the establishment to such extremes, I have no doubt in 2020 people of power would go to extreme lengths to prevent his election.
If it's a fact, it's a fact.
It's also cringey as hell.
I remember Victor Davis Hansen talking about when Trump first started running in 2016 (or 15)... He asked a friend who'd seen Trump campaign in VDH's native California farm country how he was dressed. The friend said he had on his normal suit, red tie, etc. Hansen said he knew then Trump would do well there because he showed up in his normal dress and not in hokey overalls or whatever else he thought farm people would wear. Why, because people can sense that type of insincerity and pandering, and it turns them off.
Trump is cringe as hell, but it's like an oddly authentic cringe.
He can lie with the best of them, but his lies are usually about trivial stuff, like crowd sizes.
The very next sentence after the one you quoted said this, Mr. Disingenuous as Usual:
This is definitely true. Which is why you feel like you at least know who he really is. Sure, he will brag, and his bragging consists of lies about his weight, the doctors opinion of his physical fitness, the size of the crowd at a rally or something like that. He will claim to be the best and most brilliant guy ever. But that's how he always is and we know that these things aren't true but they really come down to embelishments.
