There is basically no evidence to support either position. SCOTUS has already protected guns more than anyone in decades, and I’m not going to trade off having over $20k of my money already stolen for the possibility of my money being stolen. If Trump’s tax plan goes away, then I get all of that money back moving forward as SALT deductions return. So your argument is a moot point on taxes. Trump already raised my taxes, so he’s already proven to be a tax loving piece of shit.
They absolutely would pass another assault weapons ban, they did it in the 90s already, how can you say there's no evidence?
I think we are lucky that with "6 conservatives," we'd probably get a 5-4 vote overturning any new assault weapons ban they tried to pass, but, that's a long process. They'd pass the ban, manufacturers would have to stop making or importing them, it would make prices skyrocket, etc. Then years later, an appeal might successfully overturn the ban. It's not something I want to see happen.
