I don't think that's necessarily true. I think it depends what kind of shape the country is in.
Agree, and unlike right now, Trump can't run for another term. So it's a new candidate anyway in 2028. That's the biggest problem for the Democrats right now, unless Biden steps down, they don't have a good way of preventing him running for President. Even with the shitshow that was Biden's presidency, if they had a strong candidate to run for the spot (They don't that I can see) I think that candidate would have a real shot of separating themselves from this Biden mess and winning.

The fact that Biden is even a candidate in his state of being is an insult to all of us. How the fuck is supposed to be our leader? It was bad enough 4 years ago but I seriously doubt that he even knows where he is. It's disgusting.
Makes you wonder who's really running the country. Staffers? Which ones?

It's the DNC. They communicate to Biden's staff or even his wife, who in turn tells Biden what he's going to do or say.

It's something along those lines.

The real question is who is pulling the DNC's strings. I think it's a combination of people like Pelosi, maybe Hillary, and other high ranking Democrats.

Yep. Some Frankenstein-type committee of Susan Rice, Pelosi, Obama.. the usual suspects.

Howard Dean redux

Not even, because at least Dean spoke for himself.

This image is a real life manifestation of what it seems like is happening - other people pulling Biden's strings as he acts like a wallflower.

It's there, and has become more noticeable over the last year. The risk here is that if it resembles Biden's decline this time in 2028, the Republicans are all but handing the Democrats the White House and multiple seats in Congress.
Even if Trump wins this time around, he couldn't run again so there would be another candidate. This would be his 2nd term.

Or are you just talking about the general disgust with having a drooling meat bag in office. Like right now.

The general disgust. Given the shit show that was Trump's first term which left us with rapidly increasing inflation and rising unemployment, my concern is that sore spot will come back to haunt the Republicans, especially if his second term is littered with more problems coupled with a noticeable decline in mental cognition. The public will pounce on that and put a Democrat back in office.

It is inevitable that the party will be more prepared, particularly since Trump will get their jimmies all rustled.
