This is the problem. Fucking loons get upset if he won't go to the extreme and claim he is going to push for a federal ban on abortions. To me a federal ban on abortions is no better than a federal right to abortions. Trump is totally correct in saying that it's a states right. And no I don't care what his personal feelings are on abortion. I care what his policy is. Which is better than Kamala whose policy and personal opinion is that abortion should be a right.
It's always funny to me how some people will turn on a candidate if they don't agree with their extreme position. Sure Trump could agree with your position, but it's so extreme it's going to alienate a shit ton of people who would vote for him. And then he guaranteed loses. Do you really want that? All so you feel like his opinions align perfectly with yours?

Wait, you mean Trump? Yes, Trump was a Democrat until about a decade ago.
I was referring to them demonizing Cheney for decades. I should have specified because it is hard to keep their demons straight sometimes given how often they demonize people.
If you are implying that Trump being a recent Democrat is the reason that Cheney is endorsing Kamala I'd say that's doubtful since Cheney endorsed Trump in 2016.

You know, I don't think people should be afraid to endorse the person instead of the political party.
With that being said, politicians don't act in that manner once they are elected. So it's not really an option. The vast majority all just stick to party lines or what is in their own best self interest.

Ted Cruz is one of the best Senators in the country. He's one of the very few actual Constitutionalists who exist.
And his Dem opponent has said he'd tear down any wall that was built on the border. A total radical.
