how much Zeke dead money are we still eating this year?
I believe six. Since we are already paying him that, might as well sign him to the vet minimum and run his wheels off in preseason while the injured kid from Texas rests.

Because of his history with the team I don't think this would be a good dynamic. I'd honestly rather just do Dalvin Cook if we're going to go a route like this.
In the real world, yes. But in Goof Son’s: We are paying him already, why the hell not?

Theoretically I think it makes sense to bring in a short yardage specialist to pair with a rookie like Benson, Warren or Brooks, but of course these lazy morons would go right back to Elliott.

I bet they just won't be able to help themselves from giving him 15-20 carries a few times a season.

I don't see any upside in bringing him back. There are probably at least a dozen RBs in the draft who can give you just as much short yardage production and who are more explosive than Zeke. And their cost would probably be a fraction of what Zeke would cost.

Feels like this would be a move that's made just to get Joe Fan back in their corner.....by bringing back an old fan favorite.

You are a fool.

I am pretty sure there is a surplus of jerseys that could repurposed to help with our cash flow problem.

Warren?

I just don't think it makes much sense to bring Ellliot back. He has lost all explosion. I'd rather take a flier in free agency on Dobbins. Price is the same but at least there is upside.

Jaylen Wright, this moronic organization is so demoralizing I can't even bother keeping all these names straight.

Get your Elliott jerseys out of mothballs, you fucking retards.
Ghelken has been hinting at this for days, I wouldn't be shocked if they brought in both Elliott and Cook, although knowing how in love they are with Elliott I doubt they'd want to make him compete to that extent for a roster spot.

I have no clue why these idiots wouldn't roll the dice on a guy like Dobbins, I doubt he'd get anything more than the vet minimum and if he can somehow stay on the field he's a potential clear cut starter.
