The Cowboys' surgeon certainly seems to come from the local walk in orthopedic clinic.

Gotta save money for that portfolio.

Here’s a simple solution: stop overpaying for mediocre QBs, or remove QB salaries from the cap.
These pieces of shit like Harris and Walker are toadie, bootlicker fucks that are tantamount to PR people for the team. The only value they provide is if you read between the lines and kind of glean little nuggets on what the team is thinking, simply because of their proximity to the organization.

But they're absolute zeros in terms of actual analysis, they're worthless puppets.

If I were a player and they approached me to restructure to create cap room, I’d ask the the obvious question.

“For fucking what?”

It's honestly a no brainer though. The player gets the benefit of getting a bunch more money up front and guaranteed.

So they are talking millions of dollars from future years that they could otherwise cut you and you wouldn't get, and giving it to you now.

It's always worth it for the player.

Well, seeing how all but one or two (maybe) QB's are significantly above mediocre, better hope for the latter.

IMO, KC is the new NE... as long as Mahommes stays healthy, they should remain SB favorites for the foreseeable future.

* I'd also like to see where this franchise would be if the cap had never been implemented.
